FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

My client, the State of Qatar, hosted the FIFA World Cup in November-December 2022. As the Emirate's press relations lead in France and Belgium, my company Édile Consulting supported our client throughout the project, both in the lead-up to the event and during it. It was a wonderful challenge for our teams and an exceptional opportunity to take part in organizing one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

In the years and months leading up to the event, we organized press trips to Doha to show journalists what was really happening on the ground, from visits to the infrastructure under construction to the finished venues, and then throughout the World Cup itself.

We organized and supported numerous interviews, including with the Emir of Qatar, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the President of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, along with print, TV and radio features.

This work helped support the first FIFA World Cup ever hosted by an Arab nation and generated extensive coverage across the world's leading media outlets, in television, radio and print.
